The IC693CPU350 is a high-performance modular controller belonging to GE Fanuc’s Series 90-30 PLC platform. Designed as a single-slot module, it serves as the core of medium-to-large industrial control systems, supporting up to 8 baseplates (including the local baseplate hosting the CPU) for scalable I/O expansion.

Memory & I/O Capacity

Equipped with 32 KB of non-configurable user memory (featuring both flash and RAM), the IC693CPU350 delivers robust data processing and program storage capabilities. It supports extensive I/O scalability to meet complex application demands:

Discrete I/O: 2048 discrete input points and 2048 discrete output points
Analog I/O: 2048 analog input words and 512 analog output words
Additional memory resources: 1280 bits of discrete global memory, 9999 words of register memory, and 28 words of system registers

The controller also supports over 2000 timers/counters and shift register functionality, enhancing flexibility for sequence control and data manipulation tasks.

Communication Capabilities

The IC693CPU350 does not include a dedicated on-board communication port; instead, it leverages the RS485 interface integrated into the compatible power supply module. This RS485 port—functioning as the controller’s serial communication interface—supports SNP/SNP-X slave protocols, enabling seamless connectivity with programming workstations, Hand-Held Programmers (HHP), and other RS485-compatible devices.
